Students learn about and imitate the movements and sounds of nature. They are encouraged to use their knowledge and imagination to become lions roaring, butterflies flying, crabs walking, dogs panting, snakes hissing, whales breathing, flowers blooming or trees standing straight and tall. They can recite the ABC’s or 123’s while holding asanas (yoga poses). While doing these movements and poses, children are stretching, twisting, bending and balancing, at the same time learning to listen, focus and breath.
